2016 Regional Wedding Accessory Designer of the Year | TWIA 18 November 2015
Mia Monica was crowned 'East Midlands Accessory Designer of the Year' at The 2016 Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA).
After winning the award, wedding designer and creative director Monica commented " I am both over the moon and honoured to have won such a title. The talent from the East Midlands was exceptionally high and to be recognised as one of the best suppliers within the industry is truly incredible. I absolutely love being a part of the Wedding Industry and working so closely with brides-to-be who expect the very best for their special day. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who voted, the Judges and all of my followers. This year has been quite a journey and to end it with this recognition is absolutely fantastic.”
The East Midlands regional event took place at The Granary Hotel in Fawsley near Daventry, a beautiful countryside wedding venue. The sold-out event attracted over 200 wedding suppliers from across the region from bridal designers to florists, photographers to transport. There were 24 awards in total presented by Damian Bailey, founder of the TWIA awards to the regional winners from each category live on stage. Regional winners were presented with the famous TWIA badge of honour and a glass trophy, custom made by Cutture London.
The Wedding Industry Awards are the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry and the judging panel is second to none in its breadth and depth of expertise and experience.

RUNWAY EDIT: INBAL DROR | FALL 2015 19 October 2015
Israeli designer Inbal Dror is one of those designers we just can't get enough of. For Fall 2015, she takes a romantic, regal approach to her designs. Lace sheath, gold beading, illusion tops, mermaid tulle skirts and shimmering cover ups are all beautifully constructed making these the perfect compliment to fall and winter weddings.

A Great Grandmother's Heirloom 25 May 2015
Using her great grandmother's heirloom necklace, gorgeous bride to be Holly asked us to rework this into a pair of earrings that could be worn on her wedding day. The brief was to try and stay as close to the original vintage style as possible. The original necklace was simply adorable but what could be more sentimental than to have such a jewellery piece transformed into a modern heirloom. From the remaining parts of the necklace we then reworked this into a charm necklace made upon a new silver chain.
We loved the result. Pure gorgeousness!

Late August brought an exciting trip to the Japan International Jewellery Fair, but it wasn't all work.
We made sure that there was plenty of time for fun too. From climbing Mount Fuji to temple hopping, this is the oriental of Japan.
